FAQ
So, what kind of stuff can I order?
Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, charms, you name it! If it can be made with beads, resin or polymer clay, chances are I can do it!
What don't you do?
I don't do metalwork, although I'd like to do so in the future. I can usually do a faux metal look for most pieces though, so don't let that deter you! I also don't do large prop items.
What about swords?
Nope, sorry. I wouldn't even know where to start on something that large. I can, however, make decorative elements for weapons (jewels, etc) for you to attach to your own projects. Small weapons however, knives and the like, are certainly a possibility. If in doubt, drop me an email and ask!
I designed this really cool necklace/pair of earrings/bracelet. It's not cosplay, but can you make it?
Probably! When submitting your order, simply note that you're interested in a custom piece of jewelry and include either a sketch or a very detailed description of the item.
Do you take international orders?
Absolutely! Orders outside the U.S. and Canada will be more expensive and take longer to arrive, so be sure to keep that in mind when placing your order. I always include shipping costs in my quotes.
What payment methods do you accept?
Paypal is my preferred method of payment. I also accept personal checks, money orders, and cash. I really discourage mailing cash as it can't be tracked and if it gets lost in transit there's nothing I can do. If sending personal check, be sure to allow extra time for the check to clear. If sending a money order from outside Canada, make sure it's an international money order.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
This depends on a variety of factors. For premade orders, customers in the U.S. and Canada can expect to receive their orders within 6-12 business days after payment clears. International orders should allow for two to six weeks unless you want to upgrade to priority or overnight shipping. For custom orders, it could take anywhere from two weeks to two months, depending on the complexity of the item, the amount of orders I'm currently working on and any supplies I need to order for your piece. So please, make your orders several months in advance of your con whenever possible.
But, my con is in three weeks and I can't wait two months! Isn't there anything you can do?
Sure! Overnight shipping is a miracle, after all. If I have the supplies on hand and if you're willing to pay the additional shipping and a small rush fee, I'll make sure your item is in the mail on time! (Although, I can't be held responsible for acts of God or postal fail. XD). I will however need at least one week to get the item out. Any less than that and I'll still try, but I can't make any guarantees.
I'm interesting in keeping track of your progress. Any way I can do that?
I update my blog frequently with current projects, orders, and photos of works in progress, so if you'd like to keep an eye on what I'm working on, that's the way to do it.

I'm based in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
Hey! I live near there! Can I pick up my order instead of having it shipped?
Certainly! If you wish to pick up your order, simply make a note of it when you place your order and we can arrange a time.
Canada, huh? Does that mean prices are in Canadian dollars?
As most of my customers are from the U.S., all of my prices are in U.S. dollars. If you'd like your quote in another type of currency (Canadian, Euros, etc) make a note of it with your order.
Do I have to pay sales tax on my purchase?
Typically, no. However, anyone placing orders in the province of Ontario before July 1st 2010 will have an 8% Provincial Sales Tax added to their order. After July 1st 2010, Ontario residents will have a 13% Harmonized Sales Tax added to their order.
What's your return policy?
No returns will be accepted. No buying an item for a single con and then returning it, sorry. However, if there's a problem with your purchase (wrong item, damaged due to insufficient packaging, etc.) I will absolutely replace the item at no extra charge. I want my customers to walk away satisfied.
